3. Monitoring and Alerts #

  • You will receive a confirmation email when the initial setup is complete.
  • Your first full backup will begin immediately with no disruption to your workflow.

How long is data retained?
Data is retained based on your policy settings. The standard retention period is one year, but we offer extended or custom durations based on your compliance needs (e.g., FTC Safeguards, GLBA, HIPAA).

How do I request a restore?
Submit a request through your Office Heroes Client Portal or email us with the file, folder, mailbox, or message you’d like restored. We typically recover items within four business hours.

Is any software required?
No. Our backups are fully cloud-native and require no local software installation.

Is my data secure?
Yes. All backups are encrypted (AES-256) at rest and in transit, and stored in secure, ISO 27001-compliant data centers. Only authorized Office Heroes personnel and designated client contacts can request or access backup data.

Will this affect Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace performance?
No. All backup operations are API-based and run externally from your production environment.
