Why GCC High
The enclave is built inside a client-dedicated Microsoft 365 GCC High tenant
Office Heroes CMMC Enclave is designed for a client-dedicated Microsoft 365 GCC High environment with logically enforced enclave segmentation.
That is the standard tenant model for the product because it provides the platform foundation for the enclave’s identity controls, access restrictions, approved workloads, documentation structure, and managed operating model.
GCC High is part of the platform position. The enclave is the managed operating model built on top of it.
The standard product is built in your GCC High tenant, not ours
Office Heroes CMMC Enclave is not a shared Office Heroes tenant service.
The supported standard model is a single client-dedicated Microsoft 365 GCC High tenant with enclave segmentation. That means your enclave is built in your environment, with a defined boundary for the users, identities, workloads, storage locations, administrative functions, and security controls that are approved for regulated work.
This model is intended to create a more supportable operating structure for CUI handling inside your own tenant.
GCC High provides the platform foundation for the enclave model
he enclave depends on a platform that supports the required identity, access, administrative, and workload controls used inside the standard design.
Inside that tenant model, the enclave can be structured around:
- approved identity and access control enforcement
- MFA and Conditional Access
- approved workloads and storage locations
- privileged administrative separation
- logging and monitoring sources
- documented boundary and scope controls
- managed operational and evidence workflows
GCC High is not the enclave by itself. It is the platform foundation the enclave is built on.
The supported model is a client-dedicated tenant with enclave segmentation
The Office Heroes CMMC Enclave standard supports one Microsoft tenant model as the required and default design baseline.
Supported standard model
Single client-dedicated Microsoft 365 GCC High tenant with enclave segmentation
This is the standard and supported deployment model for all supported operating modes.
Not supported as a standard enclave model
Single GCC High tenant without enclave segmentation
If a client allows CUI broadly across the tenant without enclave-based separation, that falls outside the standard enclave product model.
Not supported as a standard deployment model
Multi-tenant architecture
Multi-tenant designs are outside the standard Office Heroes CMMC Enclave offering and would require separate non-standard engineering treatment.
Licensing matters, but licensing alone is not compliance
Microsoft licensing determines whether the required Microsoft features are available for the selected enclave design.
It does not, by itself, make an organization compliant.
The enclave depends on the combination of:
- platform capabilities
- implemented technical controls
- boundary discipline
- documented procedures
- managed operations
- review and evidence workflows
- ongoing organizational governance
Licensing enables the platform. Compliance depends on how the environment is actually implemented and operated.
The current product baseline is Microsoft 365 G3 GCC High
For the current authoritative Office Heroes CMMC Enclave baseline, the official Microsoft licensing baseline is Microsoft 365 G3 GCC High per enclave user.
That is the current standard product minimum unless a later approved revision of the standard explicitly authorizes a different baseline for a specific use case.
This is the official baseline position for the standard product model today.
GCC High is part of a controlled operating model, not a standalone answer
Some buyers assume the hard part is simply moving to GCC High.
In practice, the platform alone does not solve the main operating questions:
- where CUI is allowed to exist
- which users are approved for regulated work
- which workloads are authorized
- which endpoints are in scope
- how access is controlled
- how monitoring and evidence workflows are operated
- how the boundary is documented and maintained
The enclave is designed to answer those questions through a standardized managed model.
The same GCC High tenant model supports all three operating modes
Office Heroes CMMC Enclave supports three operating modes:
- AVD-Only
- Local-CUI
- Mixed Mode
All three operate under the same standard tenant model: a client-dedicated Microsoft 365 GCC High tenant with enclave segmentation.
What changes by mode is where CUI is permitted to exist and which assets are brought into scope. The core tenant and product model remain the same.
GCC High does not remove the need for managed controls and clear responsibility
Even in GCC High, your organization still owns business approvals and data decisions. Office Heroes still operates the managed technical controls, monitoring, review processes, backup-related controls within scope, and evidence support workflows that make the enclave practical to run.
Microsoft contributes inherited controls within its documented service boundaries, but those inherited controls do not replace customer governance or managed service operations.
Why this matters to a defense contractor
For the right buyer, the value of GCC High in this model is not just that it is the right platform category.
The value is that it supports a more disciplined environment for:
- defined CUI handling boundaries
- controlled user and administrative access
- approved workloads and storage locations
- stronger operational consistency
- more supportable evidence workflows
- a more practical enclave design for regulated work
GCC High is the platform. The enclave is the managed model built on top of it.
Office Heroes CMMC Enclave is built for a client-dedicated Microsoft 365 GCC High tenant because that is the standard platform foundation for the product.
But the product value is not the license alone. The value is the controlled boundary, the managed technical baseline, the documented operating model, and the evidence-oriented workflows that turn the platform into a supportable enclave.
